You can go for walks, runs, and bike rides, on trails and open park areas, but should maintain physical distance (i.e. be more than 6 feet away from persons who are not part of your household) to avoid spread of the virus. Persons at high risk for contracting COVID-19 should consider taking advantage of online fitness classes. Under current City Order, all City, County and River Parks playgrounds are closed. Trails, Turkey Mountain, other open space, and  disc golf courses are open. As always, the health and safety of our staff and residents is our top priority, and we will continue to provide updates and information on our website. (Updated 3/29/20)

Have fun and make new friends while helping your community! River Parks produces a multitude of events that are financed through private sponsorships to build awareness and encourage use of River Parks. To help these events succeed, volunteers sell beverages, check I.D.’s and make our guests feel welcome. Revenue earned at these events ensures that River Parks can continue to provide free events to the public. In return, volunteers receive free admission and enjoy all kinds of entertainment while enjoying the camaraderie of working with others who love River Parks. As a River Parks volunteer, you will become a part of a distinguished group who promotes and invests in the future of our community.
