For 25 years, the Full Moon Run has stayed true to its roots as Tulsa’s greatest evening run ‘n’ rock event! With a fast course that lends itself to
Personal Bests, serious runners will get a rush from the crowd of spectators and party atmosphere. This isn’t just for the experts, though! The Full Moon Run is legendary for providing novice runners and families an evening of run and fun for all skill-levels & ages. Of course, it wouldn’t be much of a Full Moon Run without the legendary FMR After-race-party…this year features Pyromania, the incredible Def Leppard tribute band!
Time and Place
The Full Moon Run is on Saturday, May 12, 2012. On-site registration opens at 5 pm, the One Mile Fun Run starts at 7:30 pm, and the Full Moon 5k starts at 8 pm. Entertainment by Pyromania is scheduled to begin around 9 pm. Veterans Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma is again the central location of the Full Moon Run start, finish, and concert. Located at 21st and Boulder Park Drive, Veterans Park is easily accessible by Riverside Dr. and Highways 75 and 51. View a Google map here.
Registration
Online registration for the 2012 Full Moon Run has been closed! You may now register in person at the Full Moon Cafe or at either Fleet Feet Tulsa location. Registration for the 5k Individual Entry is $30. For more registration details, view the Registration page.
The Course
The course is fast and flat, beginning and ending at Veterans’ Park and running out and back on Riverside Drive. This course is made for Personal Bests and is perfect for beginning runners. USATF Certified course; USATF sanctioned event. The race starts and finishes on Boulder Park Drive just north of Veterans’ Park. The post-race concert and party are at Veterans’ Park.
