Art in the Park

River Parks is home to the city’s largest collection of bronze wildlife sculptures, all gifts to the citizens of Tulsa from NatureWorks, Inc., a local organization that promotes wildlife conservation and education projects in the area.  The fourteen sculptures were created by a number of internationally-recognized artists whose work ranges from the dramatic to the whimsical.  Several other sculptures are located throughout the park system, with designs both traditional and contemporary.  They include “Crossing the Prairie” by Glenna Goodacre, “Planting for the Future” by Rosalind Cook, “Runner” by Buck Herron, and “The Web” by Ann Tomlins.
