41st Street Plaza

History of the 41st Street Plaza

Crowds gather at the 41st Street Plaza at River Parks

The 41st Street Plaza is an exciting, family-oriented recreation destination with multiple interactive water features, a playground, picnic areas, a covered pavilion, restrooms, and a river overlook.  The $2.8 million Plaza was privately-funded, with Tulsa-based QuikTrip Corporation as the lead donor in celebration of the company’s 50th anniversary and in honor of its 10,000 employees and their families.

Features

Two of the most popular features of the 41st Street Plaza are the water fountains and splashpads. These water features are a delight to children of all ages during the summer months. A large playground is also located at the area. The 41st Street Plaza is also home to a number of events throughout the year. One of the most popular events is River Lights, the River Parks holiday lighting ceremony. Parking and restroom facilities are available year-round.
