Unfortunately, due to predicted weather and the potential for severe thunderstorms, we are postponing BaseCamp until Saturday, October 27th. Even though we know you all are tough campers and can handle a little rain, the potential thunderstorms headed our way and a mountaintop don’t make for good camping spots. We have to consider your wellbeing and safety first and foremost.
We’ve looked at every forecast we could find, and all of them point to scattered thunderstorms around noon and going until late this afternoon and night. A little rain ain’t bad, but with this campout only being able to occur once a year, we want you to have the best experience possible and not have to tromp around in the mud. We also can’t risk setting up all that sound equipment for the bands.
For those of you who can’t make our postponement date, refunds will be issued for your permits. But for those of you who can make it, we’ll have all the bands, GLOW HIKE, food trucks, fire pits, and we’ll even throw in a couple of extra surprises to make up for the rain date.
We’re sorry we all can’t hang out tonight but we sure do wish we could. We hope you understand and look forward to seeing you on Saturday October 27th!
