SCOTFEST is Oklahoma’s Premier Scottish Highland Games & Celtic Music festival, the flagship celebration of Celtic history and heritage. With attractions for the entire family, the festival offers the food, crafts, music and highland games.
Come join us at SCOTFEST 2012, September 14-16th, for genealogy and family (clan) history, excellent live musical entertainers of local and national merit, Traditional Folk and Celtic Rock music, a selection of great Scottish and American beers, Whisky Tastings, Scottish and Irish dance demonstrations, solo piping, drumming and pipeband competitions and more. This event will also feature Scottish heavy athletic competitions with over 60 athletes, a Parade of Celtic Dogs, vendors of Scottish crafts and products, demonstrations of Scottish traditional domestic skills, as well as continual education sessions and workshops throughout the day.
“There are a good number of people who come out just for the beer and the music, some who come to dance and others who wish to learn about their history and ancestry, but it’s open to everyone, a great family weekend,” said Steve Campbell, festival director.
