The City of Tulsa began a bank stabilization project on January 15, 2018 has been completed.
The stabilization project will be just south of the 56th Street and Riverside restrooms and parking area. In order to properly and permanently fix the erosion, about 500 linear feet of trees will be removed and a special concrete and cable mat that allows for vegetation to grow through it, will be installed. Once fully rehabbed, the stabilized area will offer gorgeous views of the Arkansas River and Turkey Mountain. Thank you all for your patience during this time!
