River Rush Race
Lace up your favorite sneakers. You know, the ones that fit like a glove and are destined to carry you across the finish line for a new personal best. Grab a friend, your water bottle and maybe a little sunscreen for your nose. On your mark, get set . . . FUN!
What's more invigorating than a crisp autumn morning in Oklahoma? It's the perfect time to be outdoors and active, reveling in the changing seasons. Tulsa's first-ever River Rush Run starts from 31st and Riverside, with courses on the beautifully renovated River Parks trails, as well as Riverside Drive. Distances include a 5 km run and a 1 km fun run/walk. Young, old and everyone in between will enjoy a morning filled with activities that showcase what River Parks has to offer. Not only can you race or walk, you can see demonstrations of rowing, kayaking and disc golf, view a selection of cycling equipment from area businesses and even sign up to get an Oklahoma fishing license! You can also learn more about some of Tulsa’s favorite outdoor events like the Oklahoma Scottish Festival and Oktoberfest, plus learn how to become a member of River Parks Friends!
