Starlight Band Concert - Weather Permitting
The 37-piece concert band will perform its 58th season of free musical programs The Starlight Big Band opens the season with an evening of jazz featuring the music of Stan Kenton. Special guests will be "The Salsa Rhythm Project." Concert begins at 8 p.m. and lasts approximately 2 hours. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating. Food and beverage will be available for purchase, or you may bring your own. NOTE: This concert may be cancelled due to the weather - at the discretion of the Starlight Band. The Aquarium Centennial Run
The run will begin at the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks at 6:30 a.m., with participants proceeding east across the 96th Street Bridge and north on the River Parks trail to 71st before doubling back to the Aquarium. Proceeds will benefit the Oklahoma Aquarium.

Turkey Mountain Trail Work Day
Volunteers will be cleaning up trash around the Turkey Mountain parking lot and trails and fixing trails that have been eroded. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon. If interested in helping, please meet in the lower parking lot at 68th & Elwood Drive no later than 9:45 a.m. Tools needed are trash bags, metal rakes, shovels, gas powered weedeaters, gas powered chainsaws, and gas powered leaf blowers. Please wear gloves, pants, and durable shoes.
